November

December

Nantucket’s Mystery Art ShowHeld each year on Christmas Stroll weekend at Quidley & Company on Main Street. Sponsored by Quidley & Company, Nantucket Frame Center, and Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank. Last year we changed things up a bit. It was on Saturday, December 6th from 5-7, rather than on Friday. And rather than waiting in line all afternoon, we tried a tiered lottery system. Tickets were purchased ahead of time at different price points. For $500, you received one of the first 10 numbers and were one of the first 10 to choose a piece off the wall. For $250, you received one of the second 10 numbers (11-20) and were one of the second group of 10 to choose your piece. For $125, you were in the third group of randomly selected numbers. Tickets could be purchased beginning Friday, December 5th at noon and the lottery began at 5 pm on Saturday. Tickets are always limited as artwork is limited. Benefits the Marla Ceely Lamb Fund, not Palliative & Supportive Care of Nantucket.
