Tapestries is our supportive program for ill or grieving children, teens, and their families. Through this program our staff provides:
-Supportive services to children with life-threatening illness and their families; -Parental guidance for parents of children coping with the serious illness of a loved one; -Education and support for families of children grieving the death of someone close; -Group support sessions for grieving children and their parents/guardians when enough families are interested in forming a group; -An extensive library of resource materials which are available for loan. |

The Dougy Center is a nationally acclaimed program of support for grieving children which offers valuable online resources for grieving children, teens, and their families.
Massachusetts General Hospital’s Cancer Center’s Program: “Parenting at a Challenging Time” offers parental guidance for parents of children coping with a parent’s illness due to cancer. Although this program focuses on cancer, the parenting principles apply to caring for children affected by most serious illnesses.
