Help raise funds for the Marla Ceely Lamb Cancer Travel Fund Saturday, May 12th at Legion Hall. The Fund has been helping defray the costs of transportation and lodging for Nantucket cancer patients for 20 years! Help ensure another 20 by attending the fundraiser or making a donation.
Cocktails begin at 5:30 and are followed by a roasted sirloin dinner with chowder, salad, baked potato, vegetable, and dessert. There will be a silent auction, a 50/50 raffle, and door prizes as well.

Website Relaunch

Palliative & Supportive Care of Nantucket (PASCON) is pleased to announce the relaunch of its website.
PASCON hopes that the community will visit the site to learn more about what they do and that they will look to the site as a resource for all things related to caregiving, coping, living, and dying with life-threatening illness.
The new site features a Community Resources page which highlights many of the facilities and services available on Island. There is an online library of educational articles as well as links to many useful sites. The new site also details the myriad ways you can help PASCON.
PASCON has been helping the island community for 30 years. It is dedicated to providing excellent physical, psychological, social, and spiritual care for people with life-threatening illness and their families. It provides all of its services free of charge and relies on community support.
The new site was designed by Boston Logic, a real estate web design and marketing firm which donated all of its services.

This year Palliative & Supportive Care of Nantucket is once again selling DREAM TICKETS.
Last year it was a trip to see U2 perform.
This year it’s Madonna!

Daffodils on Nantucket

Spring has sprung on Nantucket and many daffodils are already in bloom. Palliative & Supportive Care of Nantucket (PASCON) has planted more than 50,000 daffodils around the island in recent years. The Nantucket Garden Club began planting in 1974 with hopes of planting over 1 million bulbs. PASCON has continued to plant in hopes that their blooms will serve as a reminder of hope, renewal, and community to islanders and visitors alike. The island now has over 3 million daffodils planted. Their blossoms are at the heart of Nantucket’s Annual Daffodil Festival. This year’s Festival will take place April 27th-29th.
