Last Webinar in Spirituality and End-of-Life Care Series Scheduled for Thursday, July 12th

The final installment of the three part series, Spirituality and End-of-Life Care, offered through the Hospice Foundation of America‘s series which we began last June is scheduled for Thursday, July 12th from 4-5:30 pm in the Founder’s Building at Nantucket Cottage Hospital.

In this webinar, The Dark Night of the Soul : Assisting Clients Coping with Spiritual Distress at the End of Life, clinicians and clergy are offered tools and perspectives for clients struggling with spiritual difficulties at the end of life such as spiritual fears and anxieties, spiritual concerns and struggles, or other spiritual issues that arise as the person faces mortality. Panelists are Betty Kramer, PhD, MSW and Robert Washington, PhD, MDiv.

Everyone is invited! While the program will be aimed at helping health professionals, counselors, clergy, and other human service providers increase their knowledge and understanding of how to assess and meet their clients’ spiritual needs at end-of-life, the discussion will be appropriate for all and will be offered free of charge.

Continuing Education is Available! Certificates of Attendance will be provided at no charge for anyone attending the entire session. For those seeking professional CEUs, Continuing Education Credit will be available until midnight on the day of the webinar only, so be sure to complete the online CEU application immediately after the webinar if interested.
